CARB training in Finland!
Erasmus + CARB project training on deepdemocracy and photography @ Laurea University of Applied Sciences brought together highly motivated and committed professionals from Omnia, Espoon seudun koulutuskuntayhtymä, Stadin AO, Someron Lukio and Plan International. Our facilitators Trupti Magecha and Fanny Matheusen from deep:black london C.I.C and HUMMUS, created a safe and inspirational space for learning and sharing.
The fear of war, polarization, challenges in education, the future of our globe and future generations undoubtedly bring along very deep emotions. It is the reality we live in today. And these are the subjects teachers and various professional are facing with their students or clients. Thus, that is what we worked with and discussed. The only way is forward. Let´s make the way as sustainable as possible!
During the training we learned theory and practiced the tools of deepdemocracy and photography. We discussed and listened to one another. There was a lot of respect in the room.
After the training we heard that “It was more than they expected. They got answers to their questions and also real tools for practice. Some even said it was therapeutic.”
I must say that we all learned a lot, got new ideas and shared on a deep level. So much wisdom in this group! A humble thank you to all our participants and the crew. Let´s start the next level and implementation to practice!
