The CARB project promotes dialogue, inclusion and well-being 🤍 💫
Laurea is proud to be part of the CARB – Creative Approach to Resilience and Bravery in Secondary Education project, which promotes safe dialogue, equality and the courage to be yourself.
🌍 In cooperation with partners in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Italy and Finland, teachers have been trained in the use of Deep Democracy and photographic methods, among other things. The aim is to prevent tensions and support peaceful interaction in schools.
📸 One of the highlights of the project was an exhibition of young people’s photographs, which opened on 26 May 2025 in the loft of young people in Oodi. The exhibition was opened by Member of Parliament Nasima Razmyar, who expressed her deep appreciation for young people’s expression and teachers’ commitment in her speech.
The Finnish partners in the project are Laurea, Stadin AO, Omnia, Somero Upper Secondary School and Plan International. The exhibition is open until mid-August – a warm recommendation for a visit! 🩵
